$900 Scholarships One each for: Architectural Construction Technology (ACT); Carpentry; Electrical; Heating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration For 2nd Year year applicants only. One $700 Scholarship For Plumbing Two $400 Second Place Scholarships Are available to applicants in any category if deemed by committee. If not awarded, this money will be transferred to next year's funds. We encourage all students to apply for these scholarships. You do not have to be a member of the CMBA Student Chapter to apply. Note: If a qualified applicant is not available in one program area, the committee has the right to transfer the scholarship to another program or next year's fund. Scholarship applicants must: Have 90% or better attendance (For 2nd year students this includes last year's attendance.) A panel of reviewers will evaluate all applications and narrow the field of finalists for each scholarship. Finalists will be interviewed at the Technical College. Scholarship recipients must be available to receive their scholarships at the January, CMBA membership meeting. Failure to attend this meeting voids the scholarship. The meeting will be held at the St. Cloud Holiday Inn. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. and recipients will receive a complimentary dinner served at 7:00. Presentations will begin at 7:30. Students will be accompanied by the program instructor or representative. The students and instructors dinners are complimentary. Guests and spouses are welcome and the cost is $15 per person. RSVP's are needed the Friday before the meeting. Submit completed application to the SCTC Foundation Office located in the President's Office Room in November.
