During the Chamber event at the HomeShow, CMBA presented $6000 to our community; $4000 to the area food shelves ($2000 to Caritas and $2000 to the Salvation Army) and $2000 to Habitat for Humanity.

The contribution was made in March, Minnesota Food Share Month, since matching funds are received throughout the year from Minnesota Food Share based on receipts in March.

"Thank you for your generous contributions," stated Steven Bresnahan, Executive Director of Catholic Charities. "Your gift shows your concern for those who have no where else to turn." In the past four years, CMBA has given $16,000 to Habitat for Humanity plus countless donations of labor and product by CMBA members.
Since 1990, CMBA was instrumental in collecting over 45 tons of food for the areas food shelves and approximately $34,500 in cash contributions.
