Scholarship
About the Scholarship
The Central Minnesota Builders Association/CMBA Member Student scholarship
is awarded to children of CMBA members in pursuit of a college degree
in the building trades. Funding for the Central Minnesota Builders
Association/CMBA Member Student Scholarship is obtained by member
sponsorships. The scholarship program is managed by the CMBA Education
committee.
Eligibility Criteria
Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Be the child of a CMBA member in good standing; and
2. Be a graduating high school senior; OR have a high school diploma
or GED and be enrolled, accepted or have a pending acceptance to
an accredited two-year junior or community college, four-year college
or university, or state-accredited vo-tech school for the 2008-09
year.
3. Have maintained a minimum GPA of 2.5.
4. Hold, or plan to hold, full-time status at an accredited educational
institution.
