Builders' Expo Committee
- Provides continuing education for builders licensing and an opportunity for associate members to market directly to the builders through a product showcase format. Committee meets April - February

Education Committee
- Provides quality continuing education for CMBA members and those in the building industry to keep them abreast of the latest information, technologies and methods in their field, and to maintain their license status. They also oversee the Homes of Our Own Program, annual scholarships, and working with SCTC and other area schools to educate students interested in the building industry. Committee meets year round.

Golf Outing Committee
- Provides an enjoyable golf outing for the CMBA members and their guests. Committee meets December - August.

Government Affairs Committee
- Is charged with creating and maintaining favorable building environment. To review, monitor, initiate, and react to local, state and national government issues affecting the building industry. Organizes fund drives as needed to support legislative candidates. Committee meets year round.

Green Build Committee
- Is charged with working in partnership to better our community by providing education about practical methods and materials; that results in energy efficient, healthy and environmentally sustainable building practices. Committee meets year round.

HomeShow Committee
- Is a major marketing event for the members who service the community. The committee coordinates all aspects of the show that provides a vehicle for the members of the association to market their products and services to the public in a professional setting. The event is the primary fundraiser of the association, which generates revenue to market the event and added revenue for the association's operating budget. Committee meets year round.

Legal Committee
- Addresses legal issues that affect the association and its members. Review and update the association's bylaws as needed. Work on and update the construction forms packet the association has compiled. Review and work on legal issues that affect the association, its members and the building industry. Committee meets as needed.

Membership
- Recruits new members into the association. Develop and implement membership drives to attract and retain members. Review and update prospective packets, brochures, and applications, new member packets and membership recognition letters. Committee meets as needed.

Tour of Homes
- Plans and promotes the Spring and Fall annual Tour of Homes. Provides a marketing vehicle for the builders to promote remodeling and new home sales and increasing their company's level of recognition. Committee meets October - March for Spring Tour of Homes and April - October for Fall Tour of Homes.

Public Relations/Marketing Committee
- Creates a favorable climate in the community so that the goals, programs and services of the CMBA and members are understood and supported by the general public. The committee must carefully plan and make an unrelenting effort to carry out a PR plan. They are charged with improving CMBA and member visibility in the community; support community relations, political action and legislative action efforts by heightening public and government awareness of those efforts; help offset negative media and public opinion, and virtue of all above, attract home buyers to the market and members to the association. The committee is charged with seeking opportunities to highlight the accomplishments of the building industry, the association, and the members of our organization. Committee meets year round.

Special Events/Program Committee
- Is charged with organizing the membership meetings and special events, and making them entertaining to increase attendance. Coordinates speakers for the monthly membership meetings, social sponsors, and special events. The Education committee will coordinate educational topics and speakers as determined by the Special Events/Programs committee. They are also responsible for arranging and coordinating other special events such as the picnic and holiday party. Committee meets as needed.
